The typical logo is a red swirl which was for the NTSC market and the Blue swirl was for Europe and Australia/NZ.

 The Millennium 2000 Dreamcast controller was released in, you got it, 2000 as a beautiful edition to the original Dreamcast Units. Region free, the Millennium 2000 was originally released in Japan but can be used on any PAL console. The is absolutely no difference in game play functionality.
